- The Sunscreen Rule: The daytime formula already contains built-in UV shields. If your doctor advises an extra daytime sunscreen over it, it must be a purely chemical sunscreen. Avoid sunscreens containing Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide as they interfere with the treatment.
